The February issue of men's fashion magazine "SENSE," on sale January 10th, will include a special edition of "Koppu no Fuchiko" (Fuchico Cup) as a bonus.
Koppu no Fuchiko is a capsule toy jointly developed in July 2012 by Kitan Club, headed by Daiki Furuya, and manga artist Katsuki Tanaka. Its innovative concept of having "Fuchiko," an office lady character, sit or hang from the edge of a cup, has become a hit, and to date, the series has sold over 7 million units.
Whether at home, eating at a restaurant, or working at the office, people are endlessly taking photos of Fuchiko posing on the edge of a cup placed on their desk and posting them on social media.
Perhaps Fuchiko has finally awakened to fashion after receiving so much attention, and in this collaboration, she will captivate fans with a slightly different, more mature look than usual. She's dressed in a black set-up, a gray shirt and tie, which are the image colors of "SENSE," and elegant black pumps on her feet, making for a striking look! It's as if she's undergoing a makeover to mark the start of the new year. However, her hair is still in twin ponytails, just like before. This casual look may be the reason why Fuchico is loved by so many people.
Hang it on a cup along with Fuchico in various color outfits that have been released so far, and enjoy her adorableness once again!
