Hankyu Men's Tokyo in Ginza, Tokyo, will be renovating its International Creators area on the fourth floor and its shoe department on the first basement floor.
Four new shops will open at International Creators on August 23rd. This marks the second phase of the renovation that took place at the end of January 2014, and will target fashion-conscious customers and carry cutting-edge domestic and international brands.
MACKINTOSH x BAND OF OUTSIDERS will be available starting this fall/winter. MARNI will be developed as an accessories shop focusing on collaboration items with PORTER. 3.1 Phillip Lim will be the world's first men's-only shop-in-shop, and NEIGHBORHOOD will be the first to open a shop-in-shop. Meanwhile, in the shoe department, John Lobb and Santoni corners will open on September 17th. John Lobb will feature a yellow interior, based on the brand's signature color, and will sell everything from classic models to belts and shoe care items. Santoni will be the first shop-in-shop in Japan, selling bags exclusive to its flagship stores. A custom-made pattern event is also planned for mid-October. To celebrate the opening, John Lobb will be offering a limited-edition red version of its "CITY II," a classic straight-tip shoe. The shoe uses the "7000" last, characterized by its long nose and round toe, and is crafted from the brand's finest museum calfskin leather. The price is 160,000 yen. Santoni will also be selling a limited-edition pair of boots built on the "BORIS" last. The uppers are made from "Old England," known for its beautiful luster, and "Robeschiato," a supple suede with short pile. The slim silhouette features a long nose and chiseled toe with a curved outside, and a zipper for easy on and off. The price is 126,000 yen.
