
An UNDERCOVER pop-up store will open on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku on August 27th. It will run until September 2nd.
This will be the first time the brand has had a limited-time shop on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku since 2006. This long-awaited return, eight years after its last, will feature a wide selection of limited-edition items, as well as a meticulous interior design. The store will welcome visitors with the dazzling "WE MAKE NOISE NOT CLOTHES" sign, incorporating the same electric lights used at Dover Street Market.
Items on offer will include popular basic apparel for both men and women (graphic t-shirts, sweatshirts, cut-and-sew tops, stretch pants), sneakers, transfer pouches, all-over print pouches, nylon backpacks, and other familiar accessories. In addition, new colors of the apple-shaped "GILAPPLE" light and miscellaneous items such as UNDERCOVER's original notebooks will also be available. The highlight of this collection is Hello Kitty (5,400 yen) holding the brand's iconic Girapple. It comes in two types: a ribbon face with a face covered in ribbons, and a normal face. Other items include a T-shirt (10,000 yen) printed with Ribbon Face Kitty, an iPhone 5/5S case (5,400 yen), and a lip pouch (small size 6,500 yen, large size 7,500 yen), along with many other cute and quirky items that are characteristic of Undercover. There are also many collaboration items. The Girapple light (10,260 yen), a collaboration with MEDICOM TOY, is available in a new silver color, as well as the popular black and red. In collaboration with AMBUSH, they have produced a canvas knapsack (16,000 yen) and tattoo stickers (2,000 yen). "FRAGMENT" will feature parkas (35,000 yen), T-shirts (24,000 yen), and shirts (38,000 yen).
The men's rider's blouson (145,000 yen), which will be sold exclusively at the store, comes in a lineup of four colors with a standard design featuring a different colored collar. Unisex items such as bifold wallets (30,000 yen) and long wallets (32,000 yen) will also be available.
