The second LeSportsac x tokidoki collaboration is here! Designer autograph session also held

Aug 25, 2014

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, LeSportsac will release a collaboration product with "tokidoki" on August 27th.
The brand name "Tokidoki" comes from the Japanese word "tokidoki," meaning "sometimes." The cute and pop characters created by Italian designer Simone Legno are beloved by many fans and have appeared in various places as fashion icons. In 2006, he also collaborated with LeSportsac, gaining popularity.
This time, Simone has designed an original character. Introducing "Palette," a playful cat whose leopard print changes color depending on its mood. Palette and other characters are playfully depicted on bags made of shiny, puffy-infused fabrics and quilted materials. Prices include the Palette Backpack for 21,400 yen, the Duet Purse for 26,800 yen, and the Rondinella Weekender for 37,000 yen.

To commemorate the collaboration, LeSportsac's Omotesando and Ginza flagship stores will open limited-time pop-up stores expressing the world of "tokidoki for Lesportsac" on August 27th. Simone will also be holding a signing event in Japan on the 30th at the Omotesando store (from 11:30am) and the Ginza store (from 4pm).

In addition, five pop-up stores will be open for a limited time from the 27th to September 2nd. The locations are the Swing Square on the 2nd floor of Takashimaya Shinjuku, the handbag department on the 2nd floor of Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store, the 1st floor of Takashimaya Yokohama, the 1st floor of JR Nagoya Takashimaya, and the 4th floor of Daimaru Umeda.
