A limited-time event in collaboration with the magazine SPUR will be held at Center Park The Stage #2 on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku from September 10th to 16th.

The event is called "SPUR CITY—Let's Enjoy the Present." The venue will be likened to a "city," and the angles of the sales floor walls will be designed to give the feeling of "entering the city."

This marks the third collaboration between Isetan and SPUR. The second time, the theme was "SPUR TOURS," so the title was chosen with the aim of creating a "city" where people can return to after enjoying their shopping trip, and to get back to their roots. The main character chosen for this endeavor is Oswald, the rabbit character said to be Disney's first creation. The use of this character, who is said to have inspired the creation of Mickey Mouse, strongly conveys a sense of returning to Disney's roots. A statue of Oswald will also be on display for the first time at the venue, welcoming visitors. Collaborative items featuring Oswald will also be produced. A number of limited-edition products will be available in collaboration with popular Isetan brands, including a pullover (¥13,000) and hoodie (¥18,000) by Americana, and a tote bag (¥19,000) by Bed & Breakfast. Other items available include slippers, cushions, and rugs perfect for the whole family. All products are exclusive to Isetan Mitsukoshi and are sold at stores in Kyoto, Tachikawa, Urawa, Haneda, Shizuoka, and online, but some items are only available at certain stores.
