The "Gucci DIY (Do It Yourself)" program, which allows customers to customize Gucci items, launched at Gucci Aoyama on February 1st.
Gucci DIY is a new program that allows customers to express their individuality through the personalization of select Gucci products. Launched in May 2016 at the flagship store on Via Montenapoleone in Milan, the program offers customization options for Dionysus and Sylvie handbags, Ace sneakers, Princetown shoes, and select apparel.
Custom details include a wide variety of embroideries, including butterfly, lizard, bee, dragonfly, snake, rose, and peony, as well as initials and trims in materials such as crocodile, python, and suede. Customers can also choose their own color.
To launch the DIY program, the store has set up a dedicated space on the second floor where customers can enjoy customization at their leisure.
