Unimat Dining, a member of the Unimat Group's food and beverage business, has opened an organic-themed café restaurant, "CASA BIANCA CAFE" (3-6-7 Takaban, Meguro-ku, Tokyo), in front of Gakugeidaigaku Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line.
As the restaurant's name, which means "white house" in Italian, suggests, the interior and exterior are designed with a subdued black and white theme. The first floor features a cafe space filled with sunlight, a dining space for enjoying meals on the second floor, a bar space around a large fireplace on the third floor, and a terrace on the top floor. The basement floor is a multi-purpose space that can accommodate up to 40 people and is equipped with a DJ booth and projector, and is suitable for brunch, cafe, dinner, and parties throughout the day.
The menu is based on an organic concept, using ingredients personally selected by the chef from their respective producers, and is Italian-based, with an emphasis on organic vegetables, wheat, and wine. They offer flatbread pizzas (from 1,200 yen) made with organic wheat from Hokkaido, organic vegetable salads, pasta, and main dishes. Soft ricotta cheese pancakes (1,000 yen) as soft as soufflé, and pudding-like French toast (800 yen) that has been left to soak in flavor overnight were only available during cafe time, but due to their popularity, they are now also available during dinner time. Opening hours are from 11:00 to 23:00, with irregular holidays.
