Clinton Street Baking, a popular New York restaurant known as the "King of Brunch" and known for its hour-long wait times, will open its second global location in Tokyo's Omotesando district (YHT Minamiaoyama Building, 5-17-1 Minamiaoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo) on August 23rd. The casual dining restaurant, opened in New York in April 2001 by Neil Kleinberg and Didi Rahman, offers fluffy, hearty pancakes, simple omelets made with fresh ingredients, sandwiches, soups, eggs Benedict, and muffins, all of which have garnered acclaim among local New Yorkers and now attract fans from around the world. The Tokyo location, the restaurant's first overseas location, will primarily serve the traditional brunch menu that founder Neil has been enjoying since childhood. Located on Kotto-dori Street, on the first floor of the building next to APOC, another popular pancake spot, the restaurant measures 165 square meters and seats 65. Business hours are from 8:00 to 23:00.
