
On January 11th, Louis Vuitton and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) announced a global partnership to support children around the world.
For the campaign, Louis Vuitton has created the "Silver Lockit" pendant and bracelet, which will go on sale from January 13th at Louis Vuitton stores worldwide and on the Louis Vuitton official website (www.louisvuitton.com/lvforunicef). The "Silver Lockit" is inspired by the impenetrable tumbler lock that is a symbol of the Maison's founding, and $200 will be donated to UNICEF for every pendant bracelet sold. "20,000 Louis Vuitton employees have already rallied together to generate powerful ideas for this cause," said Michael Burke, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton. "Our goal is to raise awareness among as many people as possible, share the Maison's commitment to helping save children, and come together to make a difference for them."
