LOUIS VUITTON has appointed French actress Léa Seydoux as its newest house ambassador. Born in 1985, Léa Seydoux won the Palme d'Or in 2013 for her leading role in the film "Blue is the Warmest Color." In recent years, she has played Belle in the 2014 live-action film "Beauty and the Beast" and was also selected as a Bond girl in the latest James Bond film, "Spectre," which was released in Japan in December. On January 12, she will make her first appearance as the face of Louis Vuitton at the UNICEF Ball, wearing a Louis Vuitton dress specially designed for the event, alongside artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière. Lea Seydoux commented on the occasion, "Louis Vuitton is known the world over as a symbol of French elegance. I am truly honored to be entrusted with the important role of ambassador for this iconic brand. I deeply admire Nicolas Ghesquière's work, particularly the innovativeness of his perspective. I also admire his attitude of always seeking out new things."
