Stella McCartney's Spring/Summer 2014 collection kicked off with chic tones like brick red, navy, ecru, and khaki. Long skirts and dresses paired with cup-sleeve knit tops were crafted from alternating satin and organza, revealing a subtle peek of skin through slits. Tailored suits maintained a masculine shape thanks to partially bonded construction. Crocodile-print dresses and jumpsuits featured appliquéd patterns on organza. Crocodile-print jacquard fabric was also used to create oversized bomber jackets and dresses. Short top and cropped pants sets were also featured, as were work-inspired shirts and pants with zippers featuring rings. The second half of the collection featured feminine looks crafted from shiny jacquard and lace featuring daisy and rose motifs. Satin is layered under a lace skirt, and lace ribbons are stitched together to create a dress, creating an elegant and delicate look like lingerie.
Accessories include cat-eye eyewear with circular (polarized) lenses, cross-strap sandals, a crinkled silk satin Beckett bag, and a large clasp clutch bag.
