Onitsuka Tiger, a brand operated by ASICS, will release a collaboration with the American brand COACH on April 1st for men and women.

The shoes will be sold at Onitsuka Tiger directly managed stores in Japan and overseas, domestic COACH flagship stores and limited directly managed stores, and men's stores in department stores. Approximately 800 pairs are planned for sale in Japan, and a total of approximately 1,700 pairs for both domestic and overseas markets.

The collaboration was made possible by the shared interests of the two brands, such as a commitment to craftsmanship and a long history. Onitsuka Tiger has collaborated with Kansai Yamamoto and others, and ASICS hopes that this collaboration will help attract new customers and increase brand awareness in the domestic and international fashion markets. The shoes featured in this collaboration are the "FABRE NIPPON" and "FABRE DELUXE," Onitsuka Tiger's top-of-the-line model from the "NIPPON MADE" series, which pursues Japanese craftsmanship. These shoes are based on basketball shoe designs. The "FABRE NIPPON" is a high-top model and comes in two men's colors based on blue and black, and three women's colors in pastel tones such as yellow, orange, and blue. The "FABRE DELUXE" is a low-top model and comes in two men's colors, featuring a subdued design inspired by Coach leather and vintage-like colors that blend in with the streets of New York, the birthplace of Coach. Both the "FABRE NIPPON" and "FABRE DELUXE" use leather uppers and are hand-dyed by artisans one pair at a time, resulting in a natural faded look and a worn-in vintage feel. The tongue has the Onitsuka Tiger logo, and the heel has the Coach logo.

Men's sizes range from 25 to 28cm (in 0.5cm increments) and 29cm, and women's sizes range from 23 to 25cm (same). Prices are 37,800 yen for men's Fabre Nippon and 34,560 yen for women's, and 32,400 yen for Fabre Deluxe.
