The adidas Consortium Collection will release the "Stan Smith" (¥21,000) exclusively at Dover Street Market Ginza (DSMG) on January 25th. This model, which was reissued on January 15th for the first time in two years, generated a lot of buzz, with some stores selling out on the first day. The limited edition model comes in four styles, featuring crackle leather, reptile leather, Phoenix aniline leather, and ostrich leather uppers. The sides feature the Stan Smith symbol and three stripes perforated with regular holes. The tongue features a portrait of tennis player Stan Smith, the model's namesake. The Consortium logo appears on the heel tab of the right shoe, while the left shoe features a trefoil. The color is green on a white background. Sizes range from 22.5 to 24.5cm (women's) and from 25.5 to 29cm (men's).

The Stan Smith is Adidas' signature sneaker, born in 1971. It is registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's best-selling sneaker. DSMG released a limited edition reissue of the Stan Smith last September.
