BALLY Ginza, which opened at Tokyu Plaza Ginza in Tokyo's Ginza district in late March 2016, will celebrate its first anniversary with a food and art event called "A Taste of Bally" on April 9th. The commemorative event will feature Janice Wong, an up-and-coming female chef who has been garnering global attention, including being named Asia's No. 1 pastry chef for two consecutive years in 2013 and 2014. She will create a "sweet wonderland" that stimulates the senses. A raffle (limited number of entries) will also be held on the day of the event, open to all attendees, with the chance to win restaurant tickets and BALLY merchandise. Janice Wong established a new style of bar in 2007 when she opened "2am:dessertbar," a dessert bar in Singapore where assiette desserts (plated desserts) and drinks are served until late at night. Since then, she has expanded her base of operations around the world to places like New York and Australia, and in 2016 she opened the "Janice Wong Dessert Bar" in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
