Swiss luxury brand BALLY has opened its largest flagship store in the world, the Bally Ginza Store (5-2-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo). To commemorate this, the world's first archive exhibition, "Bally Untold Part 1: 1851 - 1951," is being held on the second floor of the store until May 8th.

The store is located in Tokyu Plaza Ginza, facing the Sukiyabashi intersection, which could be considered the gate of Ginza, and features a distinctive 50-meter aluminum brass facade. The first floor features a lineup of men's and women's ready-to-wear and accessory collections. There is also a gentleman's corner where made-to-order items, coloring, and shoe care services are available. On the second floor, which houses a VIP room and event space, the "Bally Untold Part 1: 1851 - 1951" exhibition is running until May 8th, showcasing 100 pairs of shoes selected from Bally's archive collection. The venue is divided into five spaces. "Cocoon" features shoes released between 1851 and 1900, including satin shoes lavishly embroidered with sequins and intricate gold and silver thread. "Bloom," featuring shoes from 1900 to 1920, features bold and vibrant designs made with metallic thread on a variety of matte and glossy silks. "Freedom," covering the period from 1920 to 1930, features shoes incorporating dazzling fabrics, colorful and intricate embroidery, and vibrant patterns. "Decadence," covering the years 1930 to 1940, will feature items that combine vibrant pink, green, and blue satin and brocade with silver and gold. "Defiance," covering the years 1940 to 1951, will feature sandals in red, blue, and white, as well as high heels and evening sandals in rich black hues.
