Men's culture magazine PLAYBOY celebrated its 60th anniversary in the fall of 2013, and to commemorate this, it will be running pop-up shops by SPECIAL PRODUCT DESIGN worldwide, starting with Colette in Paris in January 2014, followed by Zozovilla, and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing.

In Japan, the shop will be open for a limited time only at Isetan Shinjuku from January 29th to February 4th. A unique gift collection will be released, centered around lifestyle goods in collaboration with brands such as Lucien Pellat-Finet, MEDICOM TOY, OLYMPIA LE-TAN, and DISCO NAIL. Lucien Pellat-Finet's cotton cashmere sweatshirts (men's ¥304,500 / women's ¥294,000) feature the brand's signature skull and rabbit designs, with tiny Swarovski crystals studded on the rabbit head. The venue will be decorated with rare photos from past Playboy issues.

To celebrate the store's opening, a New York luxury-themed after-party will be held on January 31st. Playmates, or Playboy cover models, will appear on the fashion floor on the third floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. Plans include a DJ event, talk show, and free drinks.

Fashion Headline will invite 65 pairs (130 people) of email newsletter subscribers to this special event via lottery. The application deadline is noon on January 27th. Winners will be notified by email on January 28th.
