Starting January 25th, SAINT LAURENT will begin nationwide distribution of its Spring/Summer 2014 men's collection. The collection will launch with items emblematic of the Teddy Boys movement, which inspired the collection, including checkered flag riders, mock turtlenecks, aloha shirts, and high-waisted denim. A sukajan jacket (¥351,750) featuring artwork by young artist Luke Thomas titled "BLOOD LUSTER" will also be available. The back features a striking embroidered illustration of a heart-shaped blood dripping from red-stained fangs. Luke Thomas is a quiet artist based in Vermont, USA. He discovered the punk scene as a teenager and became fascinated with the copy art of '90s punk fanzine culture and his father's collection of underground comics. After graduating from the Minneapolis School of Art and Design, he returned to New England and worked for local independent publishing companies and record labels.
