Space Ohara, a craft gallery in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, will be holding the "NEW CERAMISTS FROM MINO - Uchida Midori, Omori Kenji, Matsunaga Keita Exhibition" in Harajuku, Tokyo, from February 7th, in collaboration with lifestyle shop Gleen Natural Store Tokyo and art director Mikiko Yoshida. The Mino region of Gifu Prefecture is a region where pottery culture, beginning with Momoyama pottery, continues to flourish. This exhibition will feature three promising young ceramic artists active in the Mino region: Uchida Midori, Omori Kenji, and Matsunaga Keita. The exhibition will offer a glimpse not only of their works but also of their backgrounds. Pottery is presented as one of the most accessible forms of art, directly connecting the creator and the work. A reception party will be held on the 7th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where participants can enjoy sake in sake cups crafted by the exhibiting artists (admission fee: 2,000 yen). Participants can take home the sake cups they used. On the 15th, from 1pm to 6pm, there will be a tea shop event where you can enjoy tea and Japanese sweets made in collaboration with the creative unit "Teinei na Jikan" and the long-established Japanese sweets shop "Fujimiya Seika" in Saitama Prefecture, using tea bowls and plates made by the exhibiting artists (500 yen per cup).
