The parent-child event "mama fes 2013 Spring" will be held on May 17th and 18th at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, Tokyo, which was renovated in April. This marks the fifth time the event has been held, and the area within Midtown has been significantly expanded, including the hall, lawn plaza, and atrium. Special stages and booths have been added. Many popular celebrities, including Saeko, Kyoko Uchida, Aki Higashihara, Hitomi, and Rikako, will appear in stage events, and Eri Ebihara will host workshops on baby massage and baby dance. Additionally, workshops and photo sessions will be held with Masu Koide, author of the popular photo book "Nezo Art Book" (Bunkasha). Nezo Art is a form of photography that uses the pose of a sleeping baby to create various scenes.

The new character, based on the motif of dandelion fluff, which adorns the main visual for the event, was created by illustrator "tarout," who has also worked on illustrations for Starbucks. In addition, special products, discounts and other perks will be available at over 30 stores on the day. Advance tickets are 800 yen, and on the day they cost 1,000 yen (400 yen in advance and 500 yen on the day for email newsletter members).
