
The annual outdoor library, "Mid Park Library," opened on May 2nd at Tokyo Midtown's lawn and will run through the 6th. This year's theme is "Connecting Writers and Readers," and book director Yoshitaka Haba, president of BACH, selected books based on 50 keywords. Baskets containing books and picnic blankets will also be available for free rental. From May 3rd to 5th, an event titled "Night Sky, Alcohol, and Reading" will be held. Novelists Keiichiro Hirano and Natsuko Kuroda, as well as poet Natsuo Giniro, will appear and read their own works. Enjoy the readings with a selection from the "Forest-Scented Highball" at Hakushu Mid Park Cafe, located adjacent to the lawn. On May 3rd, Keiichiro Hirano will read his novel "Fill the Blanks" and other works under the theme "Me and Us." Natsuo Giniro will appear on the 4th, and Natsuko Kuroda will appear on the 5th.
