The "KidZania Tokyo Fashion Design Contest" will be held at KidZania Tokyo, a city where children are the main characters, starting Saturday, January 12, 2013.
This is the first collaboration between the KCJ Group, which plans and operates KidZania, and World and Isetan Mitsukoshi, official sponsors of KidZania Tokyo. The contest was born from children's voices expressing their excitement for seeing their designs turned into actual clothing.
This time, World and Isetan Mitsukoshi, exhibitors at KidZania Tokyo, are collaborating on the theme of "fashion" to make the dreams of even more children come true. Thirty designs will ultimately be commercialized and presented at fashion shows and exhibitions. In terms of production, an industry-academia collaboration with Bunka Fashion College aims to broaden children's perspectives and deepen their understanding of the world of work.
