The looks for Versus Versace, the new brand formerly known as Versus, were recently unveiled. The show took place in New York, where Versus was based in the 1990s. The collection, which includes both men's and women's styles, offers a modern update of Versace's iconic styles, including studded leather jackets, optical graphic print jackets and denim, and sharp coats. The iconic Versace motif, the safety pin, also makes a comeback, appearing on dresses and zippers. The brand's collections will be presented on a unique schedule, rather than as a spring/summer or fall/winter collection. Furthermore, under the supervision of designer Donatella Versace, the brand will develop capsule collections and special projects with guest designers and collaborators. The first collaboration, a capsule collection by British designer Jonathan William Anderson, was also unveiled.
Furthermore, the company also announced a policy to actively utilize digital promotion strategies using YouTube and social media, and the presentation held on May 15th was streamed live worldwide on the official website.
