A limited-time store for French eyewear brand Alain Mikli will open on the second floor of Yokohama Takashimaya from May 29th to June 11th. The store will carry new items from the popular "Soleil Noir" line (¥43,050), featuring lines adorned with the colorful "Chamarel" checkered pattern, as well as two new acetate and metal designs (¥56,700) exclusive to the brand's direct store. The store will also feature new colors from "Starck Eyes," a collaboration with world-renowned product designer Philippe Starck. Alain Mikli was founded in 1978 and is known for establishing eyeglass frames as a fashion item, based on the concept of "glasses for seeing and being seen." The company has nine directly managed stores in Japan (Minami-Aoyama, Marunouchi, Nihonbashi, Ginza, Yurakucho, Nagoya, Shinsaibashi, Umeda, and Namba).
