10th anniversary of its founding, Izreel opens new store and plans to resume exhibition in Milan

May 5, 2013

IZREEL opened a new street-level store (Green Capital Hiroo 106, 1-7-17 Hiroo, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on May 1st, the brand's 10th anniversary. The brand closed its Shibuya Parco store in August last year and has been searching for a new location in Hiroo, the city where it was founded. Named "Salon by IZREEL" to reflect the brand's salon-style hospitality, the 50-square-meter store offers the brand's full lineup, including the main line "IZREEL," the golf line "A by IZREEL," which launched this spring/summer, and the remake line "Faker." The interior walls are decorated with forest-themed artwork by artists SENSE and KAZ, creating a relaxing atmosphere. A lounge space is also available. The designer also has an atelier and office on the premises, as he wants to enjoy interacting with customers.

"In the future, I would like to try things like easy-to-order tailored clothing. We will also open an online store on May 2nd. We are also planning to resume presenting our works in Milan, with an exhibition at our showroom during the Milan Men's Collection in January next year. I think the situation is tough, but we used to have around 20 clients overseas, so I am confident," says designer Takakura Kazuhiro.
