On April 13th, Steven Alan's Japanese flagship store, Steven Alan Tokyo, opened on the basement floor of Beauty & Youth United Arrows (hereinafter BY) in Shibuya, Tokyo (1-19-11 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).
The 320-sq. m store, based on the interior design of the store in Tribeca, New York, offers a full lineup of men's and women's clothing and accessories, as well as cosmetics, tableware, and other household goods. In addition to imported items from Steven Alan, the store also offers an original line tailored to trends and sizing for Japan. The store was planned by BY. "We want to bring a new Steven Alan that Japanese people can enjoy while incorporating American elements. Our company was the first to carry his brand in Japan, and we've been purchasing his products at United Arrows since before BY was founded. We both share a traditional style, and we ask them to make special orders every season, so it was a natural progression to collaborate and open a store together. The price range is mainly 10,000 to 14,000 yen for pants, 13,000 to 15,000 yen for shirts, and 20,000 to 30,000 yen for outerwear, which is a little higher than BY. The target age group is a little older, around 35 years old. We want it to be worn by a more mature audience," explains a PR representative from United Arrows BY headquarters.
A store will also open in Shinjuku Lumine 2 on the same day. A store will also open in Grand Front Osaka, which is scheduled to open on the 26th.
