MIHARA YASUHIRO will release bags and wallets in November in collaboration with Ikeda Kogei, Japan's oldest luxury handbag manufacturer with over 70 years of history. The bags and wallets will be available in advance at a pop-up shop at Lachic in Nagoya (3-6-1 Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture) from October 26th to November 8th. The Boston bag (¥168,000), clutch bag (¥98,700), and body bag (¥71,400) are available in black and navy. The long wallet (¥52,500) and small wallet (¥27,300) are available in black, navy, and pink. Made from lambskin and python leather, the bags are lightweight and feature quilted motifs and metal accessories. Currently, most reptile leather is produced in Singapore. Approximately 90% of the leather has been bought up by two companies, making it difficult to obtain high-quality leather. However, Ikeda Kogei has secured its own procurement routes since the founder's generation, and is able to import high-quality leather.
