Maison Takuya is a leather brand founded in 2008 by François Russo, who previously worked in marketing at Cartier, L'Oréal, and the French Mint before moving on to interior and product design. All products are handmade in the brand's own factory in Thailand, including hand-stitched zippers, and the brand is steadily gaining popularity in Japan. Products range from bright colors like orange and pink to chic hues like black, khaki, and brown. The lineup ranges from small items under ¥10,000 to bags in the ¥30,000 range, including crocodile bags costing ¥5 million. Their solid-leather bags are popular overseas, while their iPhone and iPad cases are popular in Japan. Their camouflage-patterned series is also popular at Colette in Paris. Currently, their products are available in 17 countries around the world, including Bergdorf Goodman in New York. The brand launched in the Japanese market in 2011 and is currently sold at Hankyu Men's Tokyo and Isetan Men's.
