Ne-net unveiled its 2014 Spring/Summer collection on the 16th. The designer, Issei Takashima, created the collection's theme, "The Blue Bird." The venue was decorated with birdcages and sofas and desks from the design furniture brand "graf," creating a "room" atmosphere. The first look featured a vibrant blue duffle coat paired with white knee-length pants. Other pieces featured included an indigo blue suit, a sax blue hat and knitwear, and light blue checked knee-length pants. In addition to the collection's theme of "The Blue Bird," Takashima used color to express "clear skies" and "hearts." Other pieces featured included knit dresses and sweaters featuring illustrations of the siblings from "The Blue Bird," as well as jacquard-patterned vests and knit hats, loose-fitting long cardigans, and red and light blue gingham-check shirts, evoking a sense of nostalgia.

The collection also includes vests with designs of hunting items such as lamps and rifles, as well as many items with prints of forest animals such as owls and squirrels. Materials used include sweatshirts, denim, and breathable cotton. The pieces are loose-fitting, with many simpler designs compared to the previous collection.

"People can't look forward without a presence like the 'blue bird.' I went back to the origins of Ne-net's theme of 'everyday clothing to be shared by couples,' and created the pieces with a relaxed attitude," says Takashima.
