UA begins selling Massimo Alba women's clothing and will hold a limited-time event

UNITED ARROWS will begin carrying women's items from the Italian brand Massimo Alba this fall/winter. To celebrate, the brand will be featured in a limited-time event at its Harajuku flagship store's Women's and Men's sections from November 1st to 10th. During the event, the brand's appeal will be showcased through a wide range of items, including those not normally available. On November 2nd, drinks will be served in the Women's section from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. UNITED ARROWS Creative Director Yasuto Kamoshida said of the brand, "Massimo Alba offers high-quality comfort that goes beyond just comfort, and teaches you how to dress to live your daily life comfortably and beautifully. While the brand is still relatively unknown in Japan, it already has many fans in Europe and the United States. We would like to recommend this brand to women who seek high-quality everyday life and who enrich their lives." Designer Massimo Alba was born in Treviso, Italy in 1960 and has previously served as creative director for brands such as Marlo, Agnona and Ballantine Cashmere. He founded his own brand in 2006 and has been offering women's, men's and children's collections since the 2007-08 autumn/winter season. The products are made by skilled artisans in a Milan workshop, and all fabrics and threads are original. The items are washed to give them a soft, natural feel. He proposes a relaxed style that makes the most of the quality of the materials, and his brand concept is "invisible luxury" and "comfort felt in the heart".
