Camoshita United Arrows, a brand created by United Arrows' creative director, Kamoshida Yasuto, has been selected as the recipient of the 84th Pitti Immagine Uomo Award. The award ceremony will be held at the opening ceremony of Pitti Immagine Uomo (hereinafter referred to as Pitti) on June 18th.
The award is given to companies and people who have played a valuable role in Italy and abroad for many years. Previous recipients include Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel, Brunello Cucinelli, and Hugo Boss.
Camoshita United Arrows was founded in 2007. Since that year, the brand has continuously exhibited at Pitti, proposing traditional styles with a focus on Made in Japan products.
Pitti is one of the world's largest men's ready-to-wear trade fairs, held twice a year in January and June in Florence, Italy. The 84th event was held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from the 16th to the 21st. Over 1,000 brands exhibited, including Italian brands and brands from around 30 countries, including Japan. Buyers and media representatives also gathered, and many buyers from major Japanese department stores and select shops also attended.
