DOMINIQUE ANSEL BAKERY at OMOTESANDO will be offering the "IZAKAYA Afternoon Tea" (3,500 yen for two people) from May 19th until late September.
This popular new generation bakery in New York will be introducing a new sweets menu exclusively at PETIT PARK Cafe, the cafe restaurant on the second floor. The menu features a unique and photogenic set created by owner-chef Dominique Ansel, who was inspired by Japanese izakayas. The set includes "Takoyaki," a cream puff topped with chocolate flakes resembling bonito flakes, "Hiyayakko," a panna cotta topped with caramel sauce, "Tamagoyaki," a crepe filled with white chocolate jasmine cream, "Gyoza," a gyuhi (soft rice cake) filled with smooth red bean paste custard, "Edamame" (soybeans) covered in matcha chocolate ganache, and "Beer," a peach soda topped with coconut-flavored meringue foam, making it a treat to both taste and look at.
