Dominique Ansel Bakery, a popular pastry shop in New York, will be participating in "2017 Amour du Chocolat," Japan's largest chocolate festival, which will be held at JR Nagoya Takashimaya from January 20th to February 14th. Amour du Chocolat, Japan's largest chocolate festival, brings together 150 popular chocolate brands. Dominique Ansel Bakery will be offering "Cookie Shots," inspired by the American culture of children dipping cookies in milk. These shot-glass-shaped treats are served by pouring cold milk into a warm, moist, soft cookie. The standard flavor (520 yen, takeout: 720 yen) combines cold milk steeped in vanilla beans for 24 hours with a chocolate cookie. Additionally, four limited-edition flavors will be available for pre-sale at the event. The "Dark Chocolate Cookie with Orange Chocolate Milk" (550 yen, takeout / 750 yen) combines bitter and rich dark chocolate cookies with chocolate milk that has a refreshing orange aroma. The "Oatmeal Cookie with Honey Yogurt Milk" (550 yen, takeout / 750 yen) is Dominique's take on oatmeal, a long-loved European breakfast. The chewy, moist cookie is paired with honey yogurt milk that contains the soft sweetness of honey. The "Gingersnap Cookie with Chai Milk" (550 yen, takeout / 750 yen) uses gingersnap cookies, a cookie made in America that combines ginger and is available in various forms. Enjoy a spicy, grown-up cookie shot with the original chai milk. The "Snickerdoodle with Strawberry Milk" (550 yen, takeout / 750 yen) combines cinnamon-scented cookies with strawberry milk.
