The twentieth chapter of CHANEL's film project, "INSIDE CHANEL," titled "Gabrielle: The Search for Freedom," has been released.

Gabrielle Chanel, the founder of the fashion house, established her own fashion house as a designer without relying on anyone else. This new film focuses on keywords linked to her life concepts of "winning," "mastering," and "loving," and depicts how Gabrielle achieved freedom throughout her life.

Gabrielle's life is told through stylish monochrome artwork. She brought fluidity to traditionally masculine fabrics like jersey and tweed, elevating them from codes to symbols. She liberated women from the confines of dresses and hats and introduced high jewelry, including diamonds and pearls. Furthermore, she revolutionized the world of perfumery with her signature fragrance, "No. 5," born from the desire to "gift fragrance to women all over the world." Rebelling against rigid conventions, she transcended the boundaries of her predestined status to become who she wanted to be. Her words, expressed in the film as "Neither education, courage, nor luck can replace hard work," and "If you're born without wings, don't prevent them from growing," resonate with women today. This year, CHANEL is launching the film project "Inside Chanel," focusing on Gabrielle Chanel and her first name, and exploring the four values that define her: "rebellion," "freedom," "passion," and "allure." The project will reveal one aspect of Gabrielle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld's vision, unravel the history of the Maison, and lead to new discoveries.
