A photo exhibition is currently being held at The North Face Standard. Photographs by up-and-coming photographer Kisshomaru Shimamura are on display.

Apr 21, 2017

THE NORTH FACE STANDARD is currently hosting a photo exhibition titled "Push It Along" by THE NORTH FACE until June 18th. The exhibition is named after the opening track on "People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm," the debut album released in 1990 by A Tribe Called Quest (ATCQ), a hip-hop group representing the American East Coast. The exhibition focuses on THE NORTH FACE's waterproof and breathable rain jacket, the "Mountain Raintex Jacket," which evokes the mood of the 1990s East Coast. Emerging photographer Kisshomaru Shimamura has taken photos of Bim and In-d from the hip-hop duo THE OTOGIBANASHI'S wearing the jacket. The exhibition was supervised by STUDIO VOICE.
