
agnès b. will be holding the "agnes b. Photo Collection 'amour, amours...'" photo exhibition at the Eki Kyoto Museum from April 26 to May 14 as a special Golden Week collaboration with the KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival, which began on April 15. This marks the first time that agnès b. has exhibited works from her private art collection in Japan. The lineup features 73 pieces, ranging from originals previously sold as artist T-shirts to unpublished works, and photographs by famous photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Dennis Hopper, Nan Goldin, and Ryan McGinley, as well as lesser-known photographers. Additionally, artist T-shirts (¥10,000 each) and tote bags (¥7,000 each) featuring transfers of works by Olivia B. and Malick Sidibe, as well as T-shirts with agnès b. messages, will be available for sale as special exhibition items.
Also, from April 24th and 29th to May 5th, an "agnes b. Select Cinema Week" will be held at Rissei Cinema inside Rissei Elementary School in Kyoto, where films selected by agnès b. will be screened, and a talk show with agnès b. herself will be held on April 24th. Furthermore, from May 6th to 8th, Kyoto Cinema will be holding a special screening of agnès b.'s first feature film as director, "My Name Is...".
