To commemorate the publication of Yanagisawa Shin's photo book "Untitled" (Roshin Books, ¥5,000), a Yanagisawa Shin photo exhibition will be held at Zen Foto Gallery in Roppongi, Tokyo, from April 22nd to May 20th.
Yanagisawa Shin is a photographer who made his debut in the Minolta PR magazine "Rokkor" in 1958 and continued to work energetically, primarily in photography magazines. His sense of distance from his subjects, backed by his unique sensibility, captivates viewers and draws them into a mysterious world.
Yanagisawa Shin only held four solo exhibitions of his own volition during his lifetime, making this photo exhibition a rare opportunity to see his work in person. The exhibition will feature approximately 15 pieces, including vintage prints, primarily from the 1960s and 1970s.
