Longrain, the Thai restaurant that is always fully booked in Australia, has arrived in Japan for the first time!

May 31, 2017

Longrain, a modern Thai restaurant from Australia, will open at the end of August in Yebisu Garden Place Tower (4-20 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).

The second restaurant by Mitsukoshi Isetan Transit, the restaurant first opened in Sydney in 1999 and serves authentic Thai cuisine featuring the four flavors of "spicy, sweet, sour, and salty." The restaurant has also attracted attention for its large plates featuring vibrant colors and aromatic spices, as well as its modernly designed space, with its two locations in Melbourne and Sydney always fully booked. The new restaurant will also have 160 seats (planned) in an open space, allowing customers to savor spicy Thai cuisine.
