
Belgian bakery restaurant Le Pain Quotidien will open its Japanese flagship store on the first floor of Tokyo Midtown West Plaza in Roppongi, Tokyo on June 1st.
In addition to the traditional breakfast and brunch menu, the restaurant will offer a dinner menu, a first for the restaurant, which operates 250 stores worldwide. Guests can enjoy food pairings never before seen at Le Pain Quotidien, including a high-quality grill menu overseen by Still Foods, the company behind meat specialty restaurants such as 37 Steakhouse & Bar and 37 QUALITY MEATS, as well as an expanded selection of organic wines and original organic cocktails. The breakfast menu includes eggs Benedict (1 piece, 990 yen / 2 pieces, 1,490 yen), shrimp and avocado tartine (1,390 yen), and smoked salmon omelette (1,090 yen). The brunch set menu includes butcher's brunch and surf and turf brunch (coffee or tea and orange juice included / 2,190 yen each). The dinner menu includes aged US prime beef rib steak 300g (6,790 yen), spicy grilled Iwate Oshu Iwai chicken (2,390 yen), Australian garlic lamb chops with herb sauce (2 pieces, 2,690 yen, an additional piece costs 1,000 yen), and grilled aurora salmon and giant shrimp (2,490 yen). The restaurant has 80 seats inside and 32 seats on the outdoor terrace, and is open from 7:30am to 11pm (last orders at 10pm).
