441 yon yon ichi's solo exhibition "Dig a Hole" will be held at WISH LESS gallery in Tabata, Tokyo from May 13th to June 4th.
441 yon yon ichi is a textile brand created independently by Ryusuke Yoshii. Yoshii studied dyeing and weaving at Tama Art University, and after graduating he worked at a printing factory in Hamura, Tokyo. He later left the company and now produces his own hand-printed textile prints, which he also uses to create his own bags and accessories.
This exhibition will be 441 yon yon ichi's first new textile prints in about two years. The textiles being unveiled this time were designed based on abstract themes with titles obscured, such as "●●●●●●", "▲▲▲▲▲", and "■■■■■■".
