From April 6th to 24th, the 8/ART GALLERY/Tomio Koyama Gallery in Shibuya Hikarie will be hosting the exhibition "Long Time" - Drawings 1997-2016.

German Stegmeyer is an artist known for his drawings with four-dimensional expanse and paintings exquisitely constructed with colors reduced to simple overlapping. His works often take many years to complete, and the repeated application of short strokes creates a tense and tranquil space. Some of his drawings, some of which have been running for as long as 20 years, give the impression of imagining fragments of history. This exhibition will feature 24 of Stegmeyer's drawings.
