The UNITED ARROWS Harajuku Men's Store will expand its concept store, UNITED ARROWS & SONS, on the basement floor and reopen on October 17th. To mark its 25th anniversary, the store is revamping its concept and interior. To appeal to a new generation, the store will expand its basement floor and the first floor to include UNITED ARROWS & SONS, proposing street culture, art, and a new, dressed-down style. Under the new concept of "Spoiled Brats: A Clean and Refined Look," the store will combine traditional items with a rebellious street culture. The store will also develop original products for the next generation, including items incorporating Japanese elements and items that combine art and street culture. The store will also strengthen its lineup of hats, accessories, and sneakers, essential street culture staples, as key items for a dressed-down look. The first floor is designed around the theme of "A son transforms his father's room into a gallery to his liking." Some of the wall surfaces were overseen by Snarkitecture, a collaborative project by New York contemporary artists Daniel Arsham and Alex Mustonen. In the future, the store will strengthen its existing brands while also planning original products and opening a standalone UNITED ARROWS & SONS e-commerce store. By disseminating information through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and apparel, the store will enhance its presence as a store and brand that communicates with the world, and by considering growth in overseas markets and customers, the store aims to enhance the value of the UNITED ARROWS brand.
United Arrows & Sons is a concept store started by Motofumi "POGGY" Kogi, a current United Arrows buyer who served as director of Liquor, woman&tears, and opened in the men's section of the United Arrows Harajuku flagship store in 2010.
