Salvatore Ferragamo will release its debut collection of Fiamma bags at the Isetan Shinjuku store's main building, a handbag promotion on the first floor, from September 30th to October 7th. Fiamma is named after the late Fiamma di Sangiuliano Ferragamo, founder Salvatore Ferragamo's eldest daughter. It was launched in the 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection. This time, the store will be showcasing the full lineup of Fiamma bags, including a bag (priced at 350,000 yen) available exclusively at the store. During the promotion, customers who purchase a Fiamma bag at the store will be able to have their initials engraved (two letters) on the included charm. Fiamma, a masterpiece of leather craft created by the brand's creative director, Massimiliano Giornetti, will be available in five styles. The bags feature functional pockets with locks reminiscent of Ferragamo's iconic Gancini, topstitched ribbed handles, a double-zip closure, a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, and an elegant satin lining. The colors are autumnal—cocoa, black, moss, and copper—along with seasonal hues like plum, Atlantic blue, grape, and the airy New Bisque. The bags' metal accessories shine with gold. The space also features a miniature collection showcasing a mix of rare materials, including nappa leather with embroidered fringe, aged snakeskin with hand-stitched two-tone fox fur, tweed accented with distressed Swarovski crystals and lizard skin handles, and calfskin with galuchat (stingray) detailing. To celebrate the launch of the Fiamma bag collection, Ferragamo has set up a special page on the brand's official website, where you can see the women of the Ferragamo family, the Fiamma bags they chose, and even a behind-the-scenes video of the collection's creation.
