On January 10th, Salvatore Ferragamo released its original short film, "White Shoe," on a special website and YouTube. The film was previously only shown at the "The Great Shoemaker" exhibition at the Ferragamo Museum in Florence since April 2013. "White Shoe" is a fantasy short film based on the childhood of the brand's founder, Salvatore Ferragamo. It was produced by Mauro Borrelli and Rick Heinrichs, production designers for films directed by Tim Burton and Francis Ford Coppola. The special website also features a photo gallery and character design images.
