LOEWE unveiled its women's collection on September 26th. Jonathan Anderson's first women's collection was presented in the UNESCO Gardens of Paris, designed by Isamu Noguchi. The collection began with a leather dress featuring unfinished leather accents fastened to the body at a few points. This technique is emblematic of the collection. This design was also applied to bags, which sway with each step, intended to be completed through movement. The collection also featured fabrics, including a black dress embroidered with colorful fabric scraps. This sense of randomness was also extended to a braided leather series, which lost its regularity along the way. While seemingly ordinary, the design accents added a major impact to the look. The skirt featured a bag-like design on the right waist, and the belted pants had no belt loops on the front, intentionally designed to hang down. The collection was endlessly witty and engaging, a style that was very characteristic of Anderson.

Apart from leather, textured primitive materials such as raw silk, cotton and linen are used to add an airy atmosphere.

The Anderson-esque silhouette is still alive and well with surreal details such as open stomachs and front-only tops. The thick shoe heels are also a nod to the recently announced "JW.Anderson".

As you'd expect from a designer who is only in his early 30s, the promotional materials are also modern. The SS15 campaign visuals were displayed on the streets during Paris Fashion Week, and some items from the collection are now available for sale online.
