Aman Kyoto (Okitayama Jugendō, Kita-ku, Kyoto) is a private resort nestled in a forest garden in Kyoto's Rakuhoku district. The Living Pavilion by Aman will be offering last year's popular "Tamba Chestnut Mont Blanc" for a limited time this autumn as well.
Made with luxuriously rich Tamba chestnuts, renowned as the finest Japanese chestnuts, the freshly squeezed Mont Blanc cream is enveloped in a layer of Tamba black bean brulee, specially selected wasanbon cream, matcha ganache, fluffy chestnut mousse and a moistly baked hazelnut financier base. It's finished off with a black sesame tuile. The six layers of autumn flavors create a delicious harmony in every bite. We also recommend a drink pairing by our sommelier.
This set comes with a souvenir "Tamba Chestnut Mini Pound Cake," which allows you to fully enjoy the soft and fluffy texture of Tamba chestnuts. Enjoy the flavors of autumn while gazing out at the forest garden colored with maple leaves.

About Aman Kyoto
Opened in November 2019, Aman Kyoto is a private resort nestled in a secluded forest garden at the foot of the Takagamine Sanzan mountain range, which stretches from Mount Hidari Daimonji in the north of Kyoto. The spacious 24,000 square meter site is dotted with an arrival building, a living building (all-day dining), a restaurant building (Japanese cuisine), a spa building with natural hot springs, a guest building consisting of 24 rooms, and two pavilions, all scattered throughout the forest garden. Aman Kyoto's modern, secluded architecture and the dignified gardens that have stood the test of time create a beautiful landscape, offering a stay that immerses you in the profound charm of this ancient capital.

About Aman
Aman was founded in 1988 as a collection of private resorts offering luxurious, extraordinary experiences, characterized by the warm hospitality of a private residence and its consistently small scale and beauty. The concept was then introduced to the world from its first resort, Amanpuri (Place of Peace) on the island of Phuket. Aman now operates 33 resorts in 20 destinations, with eight more under construction. Aman New York is scheduled to open next.
