Amabro's B-grade porcelain is on sale at Pass the Baton, along with limited editions with new designs, antique tableware, and vintage fabrics.

Feb 24, 2016

From February 25th to March 21st, product brand amabro will be holding "amabro The Circulation of the Things" at PASS THE BATON in Omotesando, Tokyo, where they will be selling "distressed" porcelain reborn with new designs.

Amabro offers classic items such as "CHOKU," a soba cup, and "MAME," small plates, produced in collaboration with the Arita porcelain production area. However, these items are subject to certain standards during the production and distribution process, and even the slightest scratch or stain can render some items unsellable. Porcelain, in particular, cannot be recycled and is treated as industrial waste.

As an opportunity to reconsider this situation, this event will feature discounted "CHOKU" and "MAME" items with newly designed items added exclusively for this event. In addition, antique tableware, old fabrics, antique tools, kilims, and more will be on display and for sale.
