The May lineup for "ZOU-SUN-MARCHE," held every Sunday at Zou-no-hana Terrace, a free rest area and art space in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, has been announced.
"ZOU-SUN-MARCHE" is a market held every Sunday at Zou-no-hana Terrace. Every week, a wide variety of stalls are set up, from bread, prepared foods, and fresh vegetables to used books and workshops.
... Therapists will select the perfect aroma for each individual, and there will also be workshops for making aroma creams. On May 22nd, ana, an African fabric brand from Brooklyn, New York, will make its debut. From unique patterns to simple designs, a wide selection of colorful clutch bags and accessories will be available. On May 29th, Betsubara Donuts will be serving up their popular donuts, along with NIC's soft and fluffy bagels, carefully crafted with natural yeast. Also, Zou-no-hana Cafe, located inside Zou-no-hana Terrace, will be introducing a new menu item: "Nee Ginger Ale" (500 yen, tax included), a blend of ginger, cinnamon, and other spices, topped with plenty of honey and cane sugar. A limited-time Golden Week menu will also be available from April 29th to May 8th. The menu includes the "Picnic Sandwich" (700 yen, tax included), made with Namiokugo's "Yamabuki" eggs, Kamakura loin, and ham, served with Miura-grown spring cabbage coleslaw; the "Ciabatta Sandwich" (500 yen, tax included), available in two varieties: pastrami pork sandwich and veggie sandwich; and the "Jidori Frankfurter" (350 yen, tax included), which combines the savory flavor of local chicken with the crispy texture of natural pork intestines and the aroma of smoked cherry wood chips. Bottled beers (500 to 1,000 yen, tax included) from 20 countries and regions, mainly in Asia and the Southern Hemisphere, will also be available. The "Enjoy! Zounohana 2016" event, running from May 14 to June 5, will also feature a variety of picnic-friendly programs, including free picnic sheet rentals, a free live performance called "PICNIC LIVE!", workshops, and a stall by the mobile bookstore BOOK TRUCK.
