■ "SO X TN: #1" by Shinro Ohtake
Based in Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture, Shinro Ohtake is one of the most important contemporary artists, working in a wide range of media including painting, photography, sculpture, collage, and musical performance.
"SO X TN" is the collective name for the catalogs published for Shinro Ohtake's solo exhibitions and fairs organized and organized by Take Ninagawa Gallery in Higashi-Azabu, Tokyo. It includes all of his solo exhibition projects, except for his first exhibition, the "3-part series," held in 2008. In May, two new titles, "Time Memories" and "Retina," will be added, bringing the lineup to six catalogs in total.
SO X TN: #1 is a binder-style work that serves as a container for collecting these catalogs. Each piece is created by Ohtake himself, and is a unique piece that is both a painting and a sculpture, with a heavy, thick texture that is unique to Ohtake Shinro.
