Isetan Shinjuku will host an exhibition by the art duo Fujiyoshi Brothers, "Fujiyoshi Brothers Exhibition - Red List Animals," from May 18th to 24th in the Art & Frame section on the 5th floor of the main building.
Fujiyoshi Brothers is a young art duo formed in 2000 by Taichiro Fujiyoshi (older brother) and Kotaro Fujiyoshi (younger brother). The brothers, who create a single painting together, specialize in painting animals in vibrant colors. The exhibition, themed "Red Animals," features endangered species and promotes the importance of the global environment.
In addition, on the 22nd, the brothers will be holding a live painting session (2:00 PM - 2:30 PM) and a signing session (2:30 PM - 4:00 PM), allowing visitors to witness their creative process firsthand. Their style, which sometimes cooperates and sometimes asserts itself, is a must-see.
In addition, works such as "Aquamarine Zebra" (acrylic, F8 size / 220,000 yen), "Bright Vermillion Leopard" (acrylic, F10 size / 250,000 yen), and "Iroha Song - Red Giraffe" (acrylic, F20 size / 350,000 yen) will also be on sale at the venue.
