
Palace Hotel Tokyo will be serving summer sweets and summer cocktails to create a refreshing summer moment, available only from June 1st to August 31st.
The all-day dining Grand Kitchen (1st floor) will be offering the "Summer Glass Selection" (1,700 yen including tax), a series of eye-catching, layered glass sweets. There are three types available: "Tropical," which features mango pudding layered with passion fruit and mango granita and topped with coconut sauce; "Peach & Lychee," which features raspberry mousse, peach compote, lychee granita, and yogurt espuma; and "Matcha & Azuki," which features matcha mousse, macaroons, azuki bean sauce, shiratama (rice flour dumplings), and puffed rice. The Lobby Lounge, The Palace Lounge (1F), offers a "Summer Afternoon Tea" (4,000 yen including tax / 5,800 yen including tax with a glass of champagne), an original three-tiered bento box filled with refreshing summer dishes. The three-tiered bento box is filled with dishes such as chilled gazpacho tomato soup, eel and cucumber temari sushi, cold beef and smoked salmon sandwiches, fish burgers, petit gateau, mango pudding and grapefruit jelly, and Japanese sweets. The pastry shop, Sweets & Deli (B1F), sells summer sweets (600 yen) made with seasonal fruits, making them perfect as summer gifts. The three drinks available are the White Peach Tart, made with elegantly sweet white peaches; the Fromage Citron Vert, a lime-flavored cheesecake; and the Mango Pudding, a verrine made with rich mango and accented with sour cream. Lounge Bar Privé (6th floor) offers four summer cocktails. These include the popular Mojito (2,200 yen, tax included), the Fresh Kiwi Caipiroska (2,400 yen, tax included), a vodka cocktail made with a whole kiwi; the Frozen Mango Pina Colada (2,400 yen, tax included), a frozen version of a popular tropical cocktail; and the Premium Melon Daiquiri (11,000 yen, tax included), a luxurious cocktail perfect for sharing. The main bar, Royal Bar (1st floor), also offers three summer cocktails (2,300 yen, tax included). The bar will offer the "Spicy Mango Mojito," made with spicy rum and smooth mango, the "Watermelon Salty Dog," an exotic watermelon version of a popular vodka cocktail, and, from July 1st, the "Fresh Bellini," an Italian cocktail made with seasonal peaches and sparkling wine.
